How long does Mini Cooper service take?

A Mini Cooper oil change typically takes less than an hour. A full service includes 77 checks and adjustments, including: 

 
  • Changing the engine oil and oil filter
  • Changing the air filter
  • Topping up the brake fluid, power steering fluid, and coolant

 

Mini Coopers should have their oil changed every 10,000 miles or every year, whichever comes first. Other maintenance tasks include: 

 
  • Flushing and replacing the brake fluid every 30,000 miles
  • Replacing the fuel filter every 40,000 miles
  • Flushing and replacing the coolant every 40,000 miles
  • Flushing and replacing the transmission fluid every 50,000 miles
